1. Doctor $avvy Answers (D$A) is a public education question-and-answer service that is run by CPF Board and supported by MoneySENSE. The answers are provided by the various financial industry associations on a voluntary basis.
2. Anyone may submit questions that relate to financial planning, insurance, banking matters and investments including products listed on the Singapore Exchange. Questions submitted, inclusive of the senders’ names and answers where applicable, may be archived, reproduced or used in any way and in any medium by CPF Board and/or MoneySENSE for public education purposes.
3. Only selected questions will be answered. The IM$avvy Site Administrator and the financial associations are not obliged to explain and will not enter into any discussion or communication on the selection process.
4. Questions that are selected would generally be those where the subject matter and contents are deemed to be of educational interest to the general public.
5. The selected questions, senders’ names and the answers will be posted at the D$A section for public viewing.
6. The answers are intended to increase the public’s awareness and knowledge of financial matters. Any given answer will represent the views and opinions of the contributing association and do not represent the views of CPF Board or MoneySENSE. Notwithstanding, CPF Board may make grammatical edits to the selected question and corresponding answer for the purpose of clarity.
7. The D$A is not a professional advisory service, and the IM$avvy Site Administrator, CPF Board and MoneySENSE, and the financial associations and persons who provide the answers are not to be held responsible for any errors or omissions, or for the results or outcomes obtained from the use of or reliance on any information contained in the answers. D$A is not meant to be a substitute for any professional financial services or advice. The public is advised to seek their own professional advice at all times before making any decision based on any information or materials contained at the IM$avvy site.
8. In event that a writer's question is selected for answer, the IM$avvy Site Administrator will inform the writer via email.
